The clinic aims to fill the gap in pediatric-focused care in the area. Unlike general hospitals, Haven Pediatric Practice offers a unique, child-centered approach with dedicated pediatricians and specialists, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and expert-driven atmosphere for children and their families. The vision extends beyond a clinic, with aspirations to grow into a full-fledged pediatric hospital, maintaining its focus on children’s health and well-being.

THE BRIEF

To develop a distinct brand identity for Haven Pediatric Practice that reflects its commitment to child-focused healthcare while instilling trust and reassurance in parents.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Visual Identity: Design a logo, color palette, and themed imagery that are child-friendly, comforting, and professional.
  • Signage and Wayfinding: Create engaging, themed signage to make navigation easy and reduce anxiety for young visitors.
  • Uniforms and Collateral: Develop mock-ups for staff uniforms and additional brand elements, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Child-Centric Atmosphere: Focus on creating a welcoming, exclusive environment tailored to children, distinct from general hospitals.

OUR STRATEGY

  • Research and Brand Audit: We conducted a thorough analysis of the pediatric healthcare landscape, identifying the absence of a dedicated pediatric center in Ikeja GRA. Insights into child and parent preferences guided our approach to create an inviting and anxiety-free environment for children while maintaining professionalism for parents.
  • Visual Identity Development: The logo design emphasizes playfulness with elements such as soft shapes and friendly typography. The chosen color palette incorporates calming pastel shades, such as soft blues, pinks, greens, and yellows, evoking warmth and safety. The visual identity balances a child-friendly appeal with an air of expertise, ensuring it resonates with both children’s and their parents.
  • Thematic Signage and Navigation: To simplify navigation and reduce anxiety, we integrated themed imagery like animals, stars, and balloons into the signage. This approach makes the clinic inviting and approachable, turning wayfinding into an engaging experience for young visitors.
  • Mock-Ups and Implementation: Mock-ups for signage, staff uniforms, and waiting room designs were developed to align with the client’s vision. These elements ensure a cohesive experience that reinforces Haven Pediatric Practice’s brand values.
