To bring their vision to life, Spid partnered with OXXYGN, a UK-based agency known for breathing life into brands and transforming their digital presence. The project aimed to create an innovative website landing page and a cutting-edge mobile app that would set Spid apart in a competitive market.

To develop an engaging, user-friendly website landing page and mobile app that reflects Spid’s brand identity, resonates with its target audience, and incorporates unique features that cater to the needs of modern consumers.

OUR APPROACH

  • Understanding the Brand Message: OXXYGN delved into the core values and vision of Spid to fully understand their brand message. We recognized that Spid aimed to redefine delivery services by offering not just speed but also sustainability and community engagement. This understanding guided every decision, from design to feature integration.
  • Capturing User Pain Points: Through user research and surveys, we identified key pain points in existing delivery services, such as lack of transparency, limited eco-friendly options, and inadequate loyalty programs. These insights shaped our approach to designing features that directly addressed these issues.
  • Design Process: Following our structured design process—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—we were able to develop a platform that not only met but exceeded user expectations:
  • Empathize: Conducted user research to understand the target audience’s needs and pain points.
  • Understanding the Problem: Clearly outlined the problem statements based on our research findings. We focused on our target audience, outlining the major challenges they experienced with previous delivery services.
  • Creating Samples: Developed prototypes of the website and app, integrating the proposed features.
  • Brainstorm: Brainstormed innovative solutions to address these problems, resulting in unique feature ideas.
  • Testing: Conducted user testing to refine the designs and ensure a seamless user experience.

UNIQUE FEATURES

Sustainable Delivery Options
  • Feature: Eco-friendly delivery choices, such as bicycle or electric vehicle (EV) deliveries.
  • Benefit: Aligns with environmental concerns, especially for younger, eco-conscious customers.
  • Details: Spid offers a “Green Delivery” option at checkout, allowing customers to choose environmentally friendly delivery methods and reduce their carbon footprint.
Real-Time Delivery Tracking with Interactive Map
  • Feature: An interactive map showing real-time tracking of deliveries with updates on the estimated time of arrival (ETA).
  • Benefit: Enhances transparency and trust, allowing customers to plan their day better.
  • Details: The map features live updates, including traffic conditions and rider status, providing a more immersive tracking experience. Customers receive notifications when their delivery is minutes away.
Spid Points Loyalty Program
  • Feature: A rewards program where customers earn points for each delivery, redeemable for discounts, free deliveries, or exclusive perks.
  • Benefit: Encourages repeat business and increases customer loyalty.
  • Details: Spid Points can be earned through activities like placing orders, referring friends, or participating in promotions. Customers can track their points through the app and unlock different reward tiers.
Community Feedback Loop
  • Feature: A community-driven feedback system where users can rate and review deliveries and suggest improvements.
  • Benefit: Builds a strong community feel and allows Spid to continuously improve based on real user feedback.
  • Details: Customers can leave ratings and reviews for individual deliveries and suggest new features or improvements. Active participants are rewarded with extra points or special recognition within the app.
